Established in 1967, Kin Teck Tong is Singapore’s homegrown Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) brand which started out as a Chinese Medicinal Herbs wholesaler. Leveraging on its heritage and expertise in Chinese Medicine, Kin Teck Tong transformed into a TCM clinic brand offering a full suite of TCM services in 2005 when the practice of TCM locally was regulated in the early 2000s.
Kin Teck Tong aims to raise awareness of TCM locally and change younger consumers’ perception of TCM, which explains the modernised design of the clinics and availability of bilingual physicians and therapists. Currently, there are 13 clinics under the “Modern Chinese Medical” brand and 1 clinic under the “Premier Chinese Medical” brand.
To train and develop local talents in the TCM field, International Oriental Healthcare Academy was incorporated in 2019. Besides providing healthcare education and practices in the area of Rejuvenation, Recovery and Rehabilitation for industry professionals, there are also courses available for individuals who wish to better manage their health and take care of their loved ones.
