The Kin Teck Tong brand of Traditional Chinese Medicine clinics run by Aespere Group Pte Ltd (“KTT”) has suffered a data breach.
We sincerely apologise for the concern and distress this may cause to our patients, partners, and other stakeholders. Protecting the data entrusted to us is a responsibility we take very seriously.
Upon discovering the incident, KTT immediately engaged independent IT digital forensic experts to secure our systems and to investigate the nature and scope of the incident. KTT has taken steps to contain the incident and we are reviewing our systems and cybersecurity safeguards as a matter of priority. KTT is continuing to closely monitor the situation, and is resolved to provide updates to those who may be affected by the incident. KTT is also working with the necessary authorities in relation to the unauthorised intrusion.
KTT is working to determine the exact extent of data which may have been stolen. When further information is available, KTT will notify persons whose personal data of a sensitive nature (as prescribed by regulations) has been affected.
